12s Upgrade: How to install derailleur pulley spacers
Steel and alloy cassette clusters from TRS+ 9-46 11s (FW1TPA-102) and TRS Race 9-46 11s (FW1TRA-100) cassettes are cross-compatible.
Parts from TRS+ 9-42 10s and TRS+ 9-44 11s cassettes are not cross compatible with any other cassettes.
We don't recommend using the 40 tooth (40t) EX Cog with a 36 tooth cassette. Shift performance will be compromised as the timing of the shift features relative to the cassette will not be correct.
The 42 tooth (42t) EX Cogs WILL NOT work with 34 tooth (max) cassettes. A 6 tooth jump is the maximum for excellent shift performance.

Check with your frame manufacturer to see if they recommend a top swing front derailleur (low clamp) or a bottom swing (high clamp). We recommend the same clamp location for the XCX guide as the front derailleur that your frame would otherwise use.
Yes, this guide was designed with both these things in mind. The TRS+ Dual uses a direct mount bashguard so it is not necessary to have a crank mounted bashguard.
