For Shimano drivetrains both GS (short) and SGS (long) cage derailleurs will work. We typically recommend long cage versions as they tend to shift a bit smoother.
For Sram there is only one cage length option in the 11sp derailleur lineup.
What derailleur cage length do you recommend with the 11sp cassette?

Are all required tools included in cassette package? I would like to replace the cassette in my Stumpjumper 6fattie that comes with a Sram GX group. Thanks
Cassette use 9-46 with X01 X-HORIZON ™ Rear Derailleur.
I find the jump of the chain with all the ratios, on steep climbs with maximum applied force.
At what distance do you recommend adjusting the 46 pinion gear with respect to the gear wheels?
typically Sram recommends 15 mm (current setting) but I find the problem of jump chain that I have indicated.
Furthermore, pedaling backwards the chain jumps from 33-39-46.
Use of race face turbine 32T crankset and KMC X11SL chain.
